Minor servicing for American trucks is a fixed price — $469 for 1500-series trucks and $599 for HD-series trucks. Everything else is quoted in writing before we start.

What affects the price of a repair or upgrade
Minor servicing is fixed because the scope is fixed. Everything else — diagnostics, repairs, suspension, transmission work, towing and GVM upgrades — varies too much to publish a single number honestly. The main things that change a quote are:
- Model and drivetrain — a Cummins, Duramax or Power Stroke diagnostic differs from a HEMI or Coyote V8 job
- Whether the fault needs diagnosis first or the cause is already known
- Parts required — genuine, OE-equivalent or RHD-conversion-specific components
- Labour time for the specific repair, upgrade or fitment
- Whether the truck needs engineering certification (e.g. GVM upgrades)
- Condition of the vehicle and any deferred maintenance found during inspection
We always provide a written quote before starting any work beyond the agreed service, so there's no surprise on the invoice.

- Does the price change for a diesel versus a petrol truck?
- Minor service pricing is based on 1500-series versus HD-series, not fuel type, since it reflects the oil capacity and inspection scope of the platform rather than the engine specifically.
