Why Buderim trucks need this work
Most Buderim trucks that come to us for diagnostics arrive with a code that's already been read somewhere else. The code tells you which circuit complained, not what caused it. On a 6.7 Cummins, 6.6 Duramax or 6.7 Power Stroke, the same code can mean a sensor, a wiring chafe, a fuel-quality issue or a DPF that never completed a regeneration — and only live data under load separates them.

Our workshop is at 46 Regent St, Caloundra — 25 minutes from Buderim. Most Buderim customers drop the truck off in the morning and collect it the same day where the job allows, so truck diagnostics doesn't cost you a second trip. If you're coming in from Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek and Forest Glen, call ahead and we'll have the hoist free when you arrive.
Fixed-price minor servicing starts at $469 (1500-series) and $599 (HD-series). All other work — including diagnostics & fault finding — is quoted before we start, with no surprises on the invoice.
Frequently asked questions
- Another workshop in Buderim couldn't find my fault — can you?
- Usually, yes. Most 'no fault found' results come from generic tooling that can't see American-truck-specific live data. We road-test with the truck loaded and log the data the fault actually appears in.
- Do I pay for diagnostics separately from the repair?
- Diagnostic time is quoted upfront and is separate from repair labour, so you know what the investigation costs before we start. We give you the findings in writing either way.
- Why do you check brakes more closely on Buderim trucks?
- The climbs and descents on Buderim's escarpment roads work brakes harder than flat suburban driving, especially towing — we look for accelerated pad, rotor and fluid wear.
- Can Buderim's hills cause transmission problems?
- Repeated climbing and descending generates transmission heat, which breaks fluid down faster. We recommend earlier fluid changes for trucks that regularly tackle the range.
