Upgrades & Accessories in Buderim

We supply and fit touring and work accessories to RAM, Silverado, GMC and Ford F-Series trucks for Buderim owners — brake controllers, dual battery systems, lighting, bar work and tow gear — wired to factory harnesses so features like trailer sway control keep working properly.

Why Buderim trucks need this work

A lot of the fitting work we do for Buderim customers is repair work on someone else's splice job first. American trucks run body control modules that don't tolerate wiring cut into the factory loom, and we see intermittent electrical faults on trucks around Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek and Forest Glen that trace straight back to an aftermarket light bar or brake controller fitted without the correct harness.

What's included

  • Model-specific harness or mounting kit confirmed before ordering parts
  • Factory harness connections used rather than splicing into existing wiring where possible
  • Brake controller gain and DC-DC charge profiles configured and calibrated, not left on defaults
  • Bar work fitted to retain factory parking sensors and radar cruise where the truck has them
  • All affected factory systems tested at handover, not just the new accessory

Getting here from Buderim

Our workshop is at 46 Regent St, Caloundra — 25 minutes from Buderim. Most Buderim customers drop the truck off in the morning and collect it the same day where the job allows, so truck accessories fitting doesn't cost you a second trip. If you're coming in from Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek and Forest Glen, call ahead and we'll have the hoist free when you arrive.

Fixed-price minor servicing starts at $469 (1500-series) and $599 (HD-series). All other work — including upgrades & accessories — is quoted before we start, with no surprises on the invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Will fitting accessories void my warranty on a truck from Buderim?
Correctly fitted accessories using proper harnesses do not void warranty. Poorly spliced wiring can, which is why we fit to factory harness standards wherever the truck supports it.
Can you fit a bull bar without losing my parking sensors for a Buderim pickup?
In most cases yes, using a model-specific bar designed to retain factory sensor mounting points and wiring — we confirm compatibility with your exact trim before ordering.
Why do you check brakes more closely on Buderim trucks?
The climbs and descents on Buderim's escarpment roads work brakes harder than flat suburban driving, especially towing — we look for accelerated pad, rotor and fluid wear.
Can Buderim's hills cause transmission problems?
Repeated climbing and descending generates transmission heat, which breaks fluid down faster. We recommend earlier fluid changes for trucks that regularly tackle the range.
